The Reimagining Politics Magazine at Substack is now two years old. The magazine is not written on a deadline. Its long form mix of philosophy, storytelling, history & politics is an open invitation to take the time you need to think & feel deeply about the issues of the day.

There are articles and essays on everything from “Covidnomics” (A six part series published in 2020), to philosophic explorations of politics and life in its myriad forms and manifestations.

Whether the subject is canoe shops in Wisconsin, narcos in México, the philosophic roots of the now threatened humanitas ideal, lessons to be learned from Nagasaki poems, movie reviews such as Top Gun: Maverick, home treatment of Covid or skewering today’s fear based politics of permanent crisis, our intention is to leave the weaponized chaos and uncertainty of corporate media behind in order to join together on a creative and imaginative journey into the future.
